I’m currently looking into some image gallery plugins I could use for this site. I was meaning to program the gallery myself. I was meaning to program the whole site myself, but I’ve come to realize that it would take me forever to make everything I want just the way I want it. Since I’ve settled for the Wordpress blog, I’m now installing plugins with the features I want. After I’ve tweaked the plugins a little and made my own site layout I’ll start filling this place with goodies. I got my J9 New + Party Collection CD today and it comes with some very nice images of Jolin Tsai that I’m eager to scan and put on the site.

BoA is releasing her next Japanese album February 15th. I’m looking forward to this album and I’m certainly going to buy it. I’ll probably wait for the overseas version though since I find the Japanese editions a bit expensive. The version that comes with a DVD looks good since it has music videos too. I like releases like that. With Japanese CDs (at least Avex releases) you generally get more “bonus items” (like mini photobooks, DVDs with music videos and such) than what you get on European releases. I think it’s quite strange that they don’t follow the Japanese example, since it would add value to the CD and perhaps more people would buy the CDs instead of just downloading the songs.

I bought a scanner yesterday (yay!)

I got a Canon CanoScan 4200F which is cheap enough and it seems good. It’s my first scanner though. I’ve only used scanners at Internet cafés and such before. I made a couple of scans earlier tonight. One of Jolin Tsai and one of Ai Otsuka. These aren’t properly retouched or anything. I’ll post proper scans of these two stars and many more once I’ve figured the scanner out and made my gallery.

If you’re in the part of Sweden where I live you can tell that spring is coming. Yesterday I realized that the sun was still up at 2 pm. For a long while it’s been setting at 11 am. Today it was light even at 3 pm and it will continue to get lighter every day now which is very positive since the darkness can be really tiresome.

The last few days the sunsets (in the early afternoon) have been very pretty. The prettiest so far was the one the day before yesterday. I didn’t have my camera with me, but I had to get out of the car and just stand and take it in for a while. If you’re familiar with the beer brand Lapin Kulta, it looked like the sunset they use in their graphics
