October 2006

There’s a lot of good stuff on TV at the moment. By “on TV” I don’t mean Swedish TV, but stuff that’s available for download :P . The new season of Gilmore Girls has begun. The same goes for Battlestar Galactica. I watched the first two seasons not so long ago. A lot of people had talked about it at work so I decided to give it a try. Another series I like is the Unit.

Then there’s the Ultimate Fighter TV series which has become better since they reached the semi-finals. Now it’s more like the previous seasons where you get to see more of the training. There are also a lot of UFC and Pride events at the moment. There’s been one almost every week.

A series I started watching last weekend is Heroes. It seems interesting from what I’ve seen so far.

I started watching Hex, but I haven’t gotten into it. The pilot was good, but then, meh. I’m also watching the anime Bleach.

So, there are plenty of shows to watch, or as one of my colleagues would put it, waste my life on. In his opinion my whole life is a waste of time. He didn’t direct it to me, but he told me some things that he thought were “wasting your life” and it was like 90% of what I do on my spare time. Everything that isn’t renovating your house or polishing your boat is wasting your life according to him.

I’ve added a lot of stuff to the gallery, but the latest is a set of wallpapers from BoA’s Levi’s lady style ads. Great stuff! :)

I watched Ai Otsuka’s LOVE COOK “Love 99″ 2006 tour DVD yesterday. I’d bought the DVD some time ago, but I hadn’t watched it yet. I’m a bit particular about watching new concert DVDs. I want minimal distraction and I need to be in the right mood in order to appreciate the concert to the max :)

You can tell that Ai is doing well just by looking at how much bigger the arena is for this concert comparing to her last one. I haven’t listened to her last album as much as her first two, but watching this concert makes me fall in love with her all over again <3

Get Love 99 DVD

I love it when she plays the piano in her concerts. I wish she’d play more songs on the piano, but then I guess the concert would be too slow or something. If she was ever going to release a piano only album I’d be the first to buy it. The performance of Ramen sambun cooking was brilliant! I laughed so much. At the end she performed Frienger, which was also very funny. I’ve heard people complain about this song. This was the first time I heard it and I thought it was good.

I wish Ai would release a PV compilation DVD. I want one so much.

BoA 2007 calendar

BoA’s 2007 calendar was released today. I have her 2006 calendar which is nice, though the photos could be better. I’m thinking of replacing that calendar with BoA’s new one. As usual the online stores used her latest single cover (Key of Heart this year) as a temporary image. I like the single cover a lot. However, the actual calendar cover doesn’t exactly do it for me. What’s with the riding boots and stuff? I hope the rest of the photos are better. As the calendar is now released, hopefully it won’t take long until someone puts some preview images online.

This year I will wait until I’ve seen the photos before I get the calendar (it’s not like I’m going to use it before new year’s anyway). I really like the pictures of BoA in the Levi’s Taiwan ads and also her single covers. They should use pictures like those in the calendar. If Levi’s were to release a BoA calendar I would buy it in a heartbeat. Of the other artists I like I think that only Ayumi Hamasaki has a calendar, but that won’t be released until December.

Edit: I replaced the preview images with higher quality ones
