I went on a trip with my parents last weekend and I brought my PSP loaded with stuff in case of boredom. As it turned out I didn’t use it that much partly because I was driving most of the time. Just before leaving for the trip I remembered that I had downloaded some music videos of the Japanese band HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR (that I’ve written about before), so I transcoded some of them to PSP format. I had brought tons of videos, but instead I watched these videos over and over. Of course I’m sharing them with you
. These are simple transcodes. I haven’t bothered to make thumbnails for them. If you don’t know how to play them you can look here, though the all the details in the tutorial doesn’t apply in this case.
- OVER 20MB H.264/AVC 368×208
- OVER ~PRECIOUS VERSION~ 15MB H.264/AVC 368×208
- PRIDE 19MB H.264/AVC 368×208
- Ichirin no hana 14MB H.264/AVC 320×240
- STYLE ~get glory in this hand~ 17MB H.264/AVC 320×240
I also brought the album GooVER on my MP3 player. I was planning on getting Gou on PROGRESSIVE (which has Ichirin no hana) and San (which comes with a DVD that has the PV for Ichirin no hana), but I found that GooVER is a better album than San. Both those albums are a little less rocky than Gou on PROGRESSIVE, but GooVER has the songs PRIDE and OVER (see the PVs above) which are very good. So I think I might skip San if I’m only getting two albums.
I want to order so many things right now. Here’s my current wish list:
- YUI ~ Can’t buy my love (I’m hoping for a Hong Kong version that comes with a bonus DVD)
- Ai Otsuka ~ Ai am best (I want the PV DVD, but I’m waiting for the Hong Kong version)
- H&MC ~ Gou On PROGRESSIVE (must have, it has Ichirin no hana and STYLE ~get glory in this hand~ and is an over all good album)
- H&MC ~ GooVER (I really like the songs PRIDE and OVER)
- H&MC ~ San (it’s good, but no song stands out. It comes with a PV DVD)
- H&MC ~ Video goover DVD
- Bleach Heat the Soul 4 for PSP (I really liked Bleach 3 and I’m into the anime at the moment, so I think I’ll get this game)
- Looking forward to BoA’s Made In Twenty tour DVD

Ummm I can’t play the video’s on my PSP. It says it’s unsupported. It doesn’t have a Video Codec, so I think that’s the problem.

These are PSP videos that were made before you could put the videos in the VIDEO folder. You should put them in MP_ROOT/100ANV01 instead. Check out the how to play guide for the older videos.
Also, make sure that you left-clicked the download links so that you ended up on the mirror download page.

Well yeah. I right clicked the link like it said to once on the “Mirror page”.
Thanks. I’d be cool if you posted more HandMc.

Wait it doesn’t make sense because they still don’t pop up on in the videos section.
I’ve made 120ANV01 and 100ANV01 folders and none worked. Is this because I have PSP-2000 Version?

I think it should work on the PSP-2000, but I can’t be 100% sure since I have the old one.
If you put the file with its original name (MAQ#####.mp4) into [your PSP]\MP_ROOT\100ANV01 it should work. For example: X:\MP_ROOT\100ANV01\MAQ00098.mp4
But don’t worry, there are more High and Mighty Color videos on the way (full resolution DVD-rips) including some of the ones posted above. Stay tuned.

Mwhahaha. Alright, I’ll try that. If it doesn’t work, I’ll just wait.

Thanks it works now. It’s because I renamed the files -_-. Lol. Tell me when the Full res. vids come out though.

I’m glad it worked finally. I’ve already posted some of the full res videos. A new video will appear every other day for a couple of weeks. You can check the front page or the HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR tag for updates.
