I’ve been catching up on the Bleach anime lately. Last week I watched the Bleach movie Memories of Nobody. I know it’s been out for ages, but I had totally missed it. I liked the movie and I thought that Senna was a pretty cool character. When they had Senna in the opening for the series ages ago, I thought she’d appear sooner or later in the series. It turns out that it was just a commercial for the movie. Now I guess I’ll have to check out the next movie that they’re promoting in the intro to the episodes I’m watching now. Seems cool.

On another, equally Bleach related, note: the fifth Bleach game for the PSP is coming out this year. They’ve been pumping out new releases of this game. I waited until Bleach 3 came instead of buying Bleach 2. I think Bleach 3 is a terrific game. I was thinking about getting Bleach 4, but in the end I didn’t buy it. It just didn’t add enough new features or characters for it to be worth it for me. I was hoping for two characters in Bleach 4: shikai Rukia and Senna (whose name I didn’t know at the time). Guess what? Those characters are available in Bleach 5!

There are a number of new features in the game as well, such as tag battle. The story mode seems to take place where I am in the anime at the moment, where Ichigo and the gang enters Hueco Mundo. You can check it out for yourself at the official site.

On a side note, I think the character Nel (the baby arrancar in Hueco Mundo) is pretty cool. It would be nice if someone made a Nel figurine. I would definitely get it.
