Non-non and Ignis

Today I received a big package from Japan. It contained the two most expensive anime figures I’ve bought: Creators’ Labo #012 Shunya Yamashita’s Non-non and Max Factory’s Ignis. I absolutely love them! It was sooo worth it. The photo doesn’t do them justice (I’ll take some better ones later).

My first reaction was that the ignis figure is huge (about 27cm high). The first thing I did was to check online bootleg guides to confirm that they were originals, and they are (yay). My other figures had to move a shelf or two down in the display case (a case that I bought with these two figures in mind). I have two (no, wait, it’s 3) more on the incoming, but they are smaller, so I think I can fit them all in there.

The main reason I bought the Non-non figure (the one on the left) was her eyes. Unfortunately the bottom left eyelashes are like half a millimeter off, which makes the eyes not look 100% level, but that’s too small a thing to complain about really. I love the Ignis figure because of how dynamic it looks.

I’m new to figures. It’s a quite expensive hobby. Before I moved last fall I decided that I wanted an anime figure in my new apartment, and after I’d moved I bought a Bomé figure at the local manga/comic shop. I have another three figures that I’ve bought online. After surfing for figures a while I just decided to order the ones I wanted even if it was expensive. I’ve been lucky though. I haven’t gotten any bootleg (fake) figures. I didn’t even consider that there might be fake ones at first. It was only before I ordered the last ones that I checked figure forums and such for bootleg tutorials/trusted sellers.

Anyway, I just had to rave about it a little :)
