I did, however, buy Princess Mononoke again, but a different release (from Hong Kong I think). While I despise western dubs atl least they usealy come with a decent sub of the jp audio. But subs straight out of Japan can be realy poor, poor enough to spoil it. duesy i couldn’t agree more. Glad you like the site. I bought a Korean TV-series once that had Chinese and English subs. I think it might have been a bootleg. Very low quality anyway. I can't say how good the Chinese subs were, but the English subs looked like they'd just taken each Chinese character and taken one English meaning for it, like it was machine translated. It looked worse than if you'd put the subs through Babelfish. It made no sense at all, and I don't know Korean, but I know that's not what they were talking about. It was like "heaven elephant lovely tree nurse dog", where nurse was the only word that actually fit in the context of what was happening in the show. Hi there. Glad you like the site. Anyway, i have a similar story. I was excited to purchase this Japanese drama "1 litre no namida" 1L of tears. So I bought it from this asian dvd/cd shop in chinatown, Sydney. I popped it in the dvdplayer. The subtitles were literally translations of what was being said and had no sentence structure whatsoever, just words stringed together. I couldnt be bothered to return it, so i just watched it online, with better subs. Anyway thanks for the MV's u upload. Keep it up~!
