I downloaded High and Mighty Color’s latest PV Hot Limit the other day and was a little shocked when I watched it. The song is sooo uncharacteristic for High and Mighty Color. It sounds more like an early ELT song. That said, I think the song is great. And Maaki looks amazing in the video.

I don’t think this is the right direction for the band as a whole. They should be “rockier”. But hey, if it works, it works. What do you think?

Rainbow is a nice and symbolic PV. The song wasn’t on the album Rainbow, but if you bought the album you could download an instrumental version. Then the fans sent in suggestions for lyrics and the song, as it sounds in this PV, was included on A Ballads. At least, that’s how I remember it. So, here it is: Rainbow. Don’t lose yourself!

This PV is from the Complete Clips box which is out of print.

This song came out back when I was still buying singles, something that happens quite rarely these days. Is this LOVE? is a very good song, in spite of all the “wowow yeyeah”. The video is pretty cool. Perhaps a little boring. It has some cool visual effects. The car crash is a little “rabbit in the headlights”-y, I guess.

Part of me is a PV that I haven’t watched that much. It came out at a time when I wasn’t following Ayu’s music that closely. It’s really nice though. I like the scene where she lets her hair down (see the thumbnail image).

I was humming the tune of this song as I walked to the train after work today. The melody is pretty good. The arrangement is so-so. You can check out a live of this song here. The quality of the source video is lower than I usually use, but I’m posting it anyway since it’s new.

Oh, and this PV has the same director as Ai Otsuka’s Rocket Sneaker PV. I came to think of this when I saw the drops hanging from the umbrella in the Kissing you PV (which you can also see in Rocket Sneaker).

Rocket Sneaker (ロケットスニーカー) is Ai-chan’s latest single. I thought I’d post the PV (TV rip). It’s a pretty nice song although it doesn’t pop quite like her other songs. It’s easy on the ears though. I’ve listened to this song several times at work. The PV is a little slow perhaps, but interesting all the same. It’s one of those “frozen in time” PVs like ELT’s fundamental love or Kaela Kimura’s Rirura Riruha.
