I like this song. It sounds a bit like another song, but I can’t figure out which song it is.
A classic Ayu PV. Free & Easy was also one of the first Ayu songs that caught me, so to speak. I had been told on an online forum that Ayu was good, so I downloaded a bunch of mp3’s and listened through them quickly. I immediately liked what I heard and I especially liked how varied the songs were. I had downloaded some mixed songs from Love appears and I am… plus some others (can’t really remember) and I remember thinking of the Israeli singer Noa when Ayu goes “konna, konna…” in this song.

Yesterday I picked up my Feena Fam Earthlight figure from the post office. I try to stay away from bikini figures, but this one was so nice, so I had to order it. I remember when the Because of You PV first came out. I was sitting up late at night waiting for the download to finish. Then I watched it over and over. I think it’s a great PV. It’s dark and symbolic like the ourselves PV.

I just watched the Korean movie Innocent steps on DVD. I bought it when I was ordering some other stuff just because Moon Geun-young (Mun Geun-yeong, 문근영) is in it. I’ve seen her in My little bride, A tale of two sisters and the drama Autumn tale before this. I think she’s an excellent actress. I’ve seen My little bride several times. Well, back to Innocent steps.
The movie is about a former professional dancer, Na Young-sae, who is convinced to make a comeback with a new partner, Jang Chae-min, who’s a talented dancer from China (Yanbian). In order to keep her in Korea he has to fake a marriage with her. Only it turns out that […] there’s more! »
I’ve been kind of detached from Ayu’s music for a while, but listening to Mirrorcle World sucked me right back in. The PV was shot in Paris (obviously). The song is stronger than the PV though.

Dearest is one of my favourite Ayu songs, if not the favourite. This PV is also one of the first I watched when I started listening to Ayu back in 2003, along with M and Evolution (also coming up). Ayu looks fantastic in this PV!
