On November 12th, YUI’s 4th album will be released. It’s called MY SHORT STORIES and consists of the B-side tracks from her singles. This is a must-buy album. Her B-side songs are great! When hearing these songs I often thought “Why on Earth didn’t they put this on the album?” The release was announced today so the album isn’t available for pre-order just yet, but it will be soon (update: now available for pre-order).

Now you’re in for a treat! This is a show about YUI’s last days as a teenager. You get to follow her as she visits places in her home town Fukuoka (February 11th, 2007). She shows the place where she used to practice, visits her old work place, etc. and caps the visit off with a spontaneous street live. Then you get to see her in the recording studio (March 4th) where she talks about Can’t buy my love, plays a little piano and records My Generation. Finally the show is wrapped up with YUI’s street live in Shibuya, Tokyo, on the last evening (March 25th) before her 20th birthday.

Now BoA’s US debut is official. Today a teaser PV of her US debut single Eat You Up was released. There are two versions of the teaser PV. One directed by US director Diane Martell and one by Korean Cha Eun-taek. You can check them out below. I personally like the Korea version more.

There were some rumours flying around before the summer about BoA planning to make her debut and release an album in the US. This has now supposedly been confirmed by SM (her Korean label) at a press conference on 2nd September. There’s no word yet as to when the debut would be made. BoA is supposed to hold a press conference about this on the 10th September, so there should be more info on this soon.

BoA’s 2009 calendar is available for pre-order. I loved the 2008 calendar, previous calendars not so much. The cover looks good, but I think I’ll wait until I’ve seen more pictures before ordering it. It looks promising though. It will be available on October 4th.
