In last week’s Music Japan HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR had their last TV appearance with Maki as vocalist. They had a small special about Maki followed by a performance of Remember. I split it into two videos with the special in one and the live in the other.

Today the PV for YUI’s latest song I’ll be was released. It’s another PV where YUI is smiling. She has such a nice smile, but I read somewhere that she doesn’t like it herself. This song will be included on My Short Stories, which will be out next month.

I’ve seen this video referred to as the “Asian version” in some places. I don’t know if there’ll be another version, but it seems likely since there were two teasers.
I think this is a great PV. I could do without the crotch-thrusting on the stairs, but other than that I like it
update: it’s rumored that the US version PV has been scrapped and that this PV will be used in the US as well.
HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR to release (another) greatest hits album

On November 26th HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR’s greatest hits album Beeeeeest will be released. It will contain their greatest songs according to requests made by their fans. The track list isn’t out yet, but the DVD that comes with the limited edition of the album will contain some live footage as well as the PVs for Amazing, Flashback, Hot Limit and Remember.
I wrote “another” in the title because I count 10 Color Singles as sort of a greatest hits album (mostly, the singles are the hits after all). I wonder how much the two albums will overlap, but I’m sure that Beeeeeest will be worth looking into. Hopefully it will contain some B-sides and stuff, considering that it’s fan requests.
