Mirror’s Edge demo is out!!

I heard that the demo for Mirror’s Edge wouldn’t be out until the 7th, but I checked Playstation Store today and it’s out!! Gaa!!

Haha, I got so excited when I saw that it was available. I was hurrying to do the washing up and clean the apartment (which I was planning on doing) while the game was downloading and installing. From time to time I went to check the progress on the download and went “omg, Omg, OMG!”. I haven’t been this excited about a game since… ever!
I looooove this game (luckily, since I pre-ordered it)! The demo is very short though, if you don’t have a pre-order code to unlock time trial mode. I had some trouble getting the “motion sensor” controls to work for rolls and disarming, so I ended up only using the motion sensor for balancing.
I thought I would play time trial until very late, but there was a power outage and the whole town went dark. The power is back now though, so I’ll play more after work

I wouldv’e been like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I was killing myself over Crisis Core when I bought it the day after my Birthday (Yeah I had to buy it myself lol).
Can’t wait to get Monster Hunter for myself. It just looks sick to me.

I played the demo. Love it. The combat couldv’e been better though.

I heard Mirror’s Edge is only 8 Hours of gameplay maximum. Isn’t that….bad? Did you beat it yet?

Well, I wouldn’t mind a longer story mode. But Call of Duty 4 is like 8 hours or something too, right?
I finished the story mode on normal pretty quickly (7 hours or something like that, hard to tell exactly how long it took). Then there are a number of challenges you can take, like time trial (find the fastest way through a level without enemies) and speed run (same, but with enemies). I have been very busy lately though, so I haven’t been able to play all that much. I played a little this weekend and I’m at the end of the story mode on hard now.
For me this is a keeper, but I guess it’ll be easy getting it second hand from people who just wanted to play the story mode.
