It’s coupon season at YesAsia, so I’m taking this opportunity to buy some stuff that I’ve wanted but haven’t bought yet. It’s my annual tradition to try to plan my purchases to get the maximum benefit from the coupons. This, together with my new Reina obsession has made me want to get her latest photo book Very Reina.

I think the (extremely) yellow and pink outfit that she wears (the one in the thumbnail) is awesome. And I laughed at the end where she comes up with yet another word: “shitsu-Reina” 
. I had heard “otsuka-Reina” and “gamba-Reina” before, but this was a new one.

It’s remarkable how Reina has remained pretty much the same since she joined Morning Musume. She is a great singer and dancer.

Why change a winning concept?
I haven’t followed Reina that closely. It’s only recently that I’ve started to listen to her music, though I find the whole Morning Musume/Hello! Project thing pretty confusing with all the members joining and leaving and temporary groups and stuff.
I like how cute and energetic she is.
