As far as I know, it’s true. It said that Maki would leave at the end of 2008 and that they would look for a replacement during 2009 on their official blog (assuming I managed to translate it correctly) and the Music Japan clips I posted earlier were a “Maki graduation special” where they announced it as her last TV performance as H&MC vocalist, but there was no mention of H&MC disbanding.
