This is the live recording version of YUI’s again music video. It’s the live footage that was partially used in the PV, with the original live audio.

This will be the last post I’m making for a while. I’m taking an indefinite break from this blog while I go back to passively consuming again.
The easiest way to get notified of if and when I’ll be back is to subscribe to the feed. I’ll still be reading all comments, but I won’t reply.

Right now I’m watching a Korean drama series called You are my destiny/You are my life (너는 내 운명). The main story is about a girl, called Sae-byeok, who was blinded but got her vision back thanks to a cornea transplant. She finds out who the donor was and wants to thank her family, only to find out that not everyone knows that Na-yeong (the donor) has died. The drama ensues.
I started watching this drama because Yoon-a from Girls’ Generation is in it. She plays Sae-byeok. She’s been in a few drama series, but this was the one I found first. The series is 178(!) episodes long (that’s even longer than Be strong, Geum-soon), but the episodes are only 30 minutes long.
I like this drama for similar reasons as why I liked Be Strong, Geum-soon: the main character (Sae-byeok in this case) maintains a positive outlook on things although she gets into all kinds of trouble. There is plenty of romance and […] there’s more! »

Momo no hanabira was the first Ai Otsuka song I ever heard. An online friend sent it to me shortly after it was released. I remember listening to it on my 128 MB MP3 player

I just added a feature to this site which allows you to rate the posts and see what others have voted. This feature is only available in “regular” browsers with javascript enabled. It’s not available in for example the PS3 and PSP browsers.
Let me know what you think by rating this post
I haven’t decided whether or not to keep it yet.

Today I got my Zero no Louise figure that I pre-ordered ages ago. It’s Alter’s Louise Gothic and Punk Ver. figure. I’m not very into the gothic lolita style, but I really like this figure. The boots and ribbons and everything.
I’ve watched two seasons of Zero no Tsukaima. I started watching the anime after seeing figures of Louise. I liked the concept that she was called Zero no Louise becuase she had a zero success rate with her spells.

Here are some scans from the bonus “style book” that came with Korean Elle Girl magazine in April 2009, I believe. It’s not all of the pages, only a selection.

At first, I wasn’t planning on posting this song, but it’s been playing over and over in my head the past weeks.
It could also be fun for fans of Seo-hyun (from Girls’ Generation) to hear her in more of a solo (well, duo) context.

Happy Days was one of the first of Ai Otsuka’s PVs that I watched. I like it a lot. I love the beginning when she rolls out of the car
I wonder how they figured when they decided they would keep the steering wheel in the car fixed. Did it cost very much extra to have a moving steering wheel included in the animation? “You want a moving steering wheel in the car? That’ll cost you…”

I’ve written previously about the iRobot Roomba automatic vacuum cleaner that I bought in November 2006. I’ve had it replaced once (broken speaker) and repaired once (dead battery) within its two year warranty.
Recently the Roomba stopped working again. Yesterday I did some diagnostics and it turned out that the right outer cliff sensor wasn’t working properly. The infra-red detector was working (it reacted to the beam from a virtual wall), but the emitter wasn’t… emitting. I could tell by looking through my digital camera, which picks up infra-red light.

I didn’t want to buy a new Roomba, since they’re quite expensive. And the problem annoyed me since I don’t even need a cliff sensor. I live in a one floor apartment.
The warranty period had passed last year, so I took out a screwdriver and […] there’s more! »
