The official wallpapers are now available for YUI’s single It’s all too much/Never say die, which will be released next week.

  • It’s all too much wallpaper (CD)
  • It’s all too much wallpaper (CD+DVD)

The wallpapers above are both 1280×1024 pixels and, as usual, depict the cover art of the different versions of the single.

In October Jeon Ji-hyeon’s first English language movie Blood the Last Vampire will be released on DVD and Blu-ray.

I was hoping that it would be shown in cinemas here, but it never came, so I ended up downloading a Korean TV-rip (in July). Having watched it, I kind of understand why it wasn’t shown in many cinemas.

I totally bought the stylized action scenes and could accept a certain amount of B-movieness. Unfortunately the script left quite a bit to be desired and had a fair amount of plot holes. Although I tried to keep my expectations down I was disappointed by this movie.

However, Ji-hyeon looks awesome as Saya. Super cool. I might give Blood the Last Vampire another chance. Perhaps I’ll like it more the second time around.

I’ve been listening to 4Minute almost every day this past week. I’m a bit surprised by how much I actually like them. For example, I’m usually allergic to overuse of voice effects, but for some reason I don’t really mind it that much when it comes to 4Minute.

The following video is from their Comeback Stage at SBS Inkigayo.

I totally ♥ Ji-yoon :)

I started watching the Japanese drama series Buzzer Beat this week. It’s about Naoki (played by Tomohisa “Yamapi” Yamashita) who is a professional basket ball player, who is having problems believing in himself. He meets Riko (played by Keiko Kitagawa, whom I love) who wants to become a professional violinist. … Continue reading

I downloaded this video by Super Junior because I had seen Girls’ Generation perform a short version of the song at Music Core.

Girls’ Generation are, from what I’ve read, supposed to be the female counterpart of Super Junior.

Of course, I can’t mention Girls’ Generation’s performance without posting that video too ;)

Ryomou

*squeal* *squeal*

Yet another figure based on a Shunya Yamashita design is coming out in January. This time it’s a pretty far out version of Ryomou Shimei of Ikki Tousen. It looks almost nothing like the original character - it looks much better!

The 1/6 PVC figure is manufactured by Daiki Kougyo and it’s very very expensive. It costs more than the Kiriko figure I mentioned before. … Continue reading

Here’s another video where Tae-yeon of Girls’ Generation performs the theme song of Beethoven Virus. Once again accompanied by Seo-hyun on the piano.

When I made the PSP version of the PV for YUI’s Sea, the first one came out bad with the sound disappearing at the end of the video. I fixed it before uploading it, but it seems like I must have uploaded the bad version and thrown away the good one. I only noticed this a few days ago (I haven’t used my PSP for a while) and I’m a bit surprised that no one said anything.

I’ve fixed and re-uploaded the video now. I’ve also replaced the torrents containing the bad video. Since this meant that I had to replace the YUI collection torrent, I also added It’s all too much and Never say die to the torrent. I will be seeding the old torrent for a while, but it’s recommended that you use the updated torrent.

Never say die is the second song on YUI’s new double A-side single. Her hair is still short, so the last PV was no dream :)
