My reader nana requested this show featuring Korean band FT Island as PSP video.
I split the show into three parts. The first contains an intro and the song Always Be Mine. The second is the interview part (not subbed), and the last part consists of performances of the songs Time Is Running Out and Love Is… (너를 사랑해/Loving You).

I watched the movie Ninja Assassin yesterday. Although it’s starring Korean actor/pop star Rain, it’s not what most people would call a chick flick.
The movie is produced by the Wachowski brothers (Matrix, V for Vendetta) and directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta), but as I’m sure you’ve already guessed from the title, it’s not so much about a deep meaningful story as it is about ninjas chopping people into bits.
The opening scene sets the tone of the movie right away. It’s extremely bloody. But not in a disgusting way. People are dismembered right and left, but they stop there. They don’t do any “weird” things to people. It’s just a bloody action movie (literally).
Just a short post to show you what I got in the mail today. Or, rather, I had to go to the post office and pay import duties for it (lousy customs). It’s finally here! The Hattori Kiriko figure I’ve been waiting for for ages. It’s pure awesomeness
I just snapped a quick photo of it. I wish I had set up my “mini studio” now so I could take some proper photos.
It’s designed by Shunya Yamashita and sculpted by Mitsumasa Yoshizawa (REFLECT). It’s manufactured by Yamato.
In this clip Tae-yeon, the leader of SNSD (na na na na na na na na Leader
), performs the song If (만약에) which is a ballad featured on the soundtrack of the K-drama Hong Gil-dong.

I heard this song playing at UppCon last weekend. I recognized it from selecting a live performance for this post.
This weekend the Japanese artists HITT and Minx Zone performed in Sweden at a thing called UppCon. I didn’t manage to get a ticket for the whole thing, but one of Minx Zone’s performances and HITT’s concert were free for everyone.
Unfortunately I missed Minx Zone’s performance. I was so mad
! I heard them playing as I got there, but then it was over before I had gotten in
. They sounded pretty good too, from what I heard. At least I saw them at the signing (which also was over when I got there).
I did, however, see HITT’s performance. […] there’s more! »
As I mentioned briefly before, Tae-yeon of Girls’ Generation has been cast to play Kaoru Amane in the musical version of Taiyou no uta (Midnight Sun). A role previously played by YUI in the movie version and Erika Sawajiri in the drama version. Taeyangeui norae is the Korean title, which I believe is a literal translation of the Japanese title (song of the sun).
According to Daily K-Pop News Tae-yeon has been practising playing the guitar a lot for this role. It’d be so cool to see her play and sing as Kaoru. She has a lot to live up to though, after YUI’s performance as Kaoru.
