This is another KARA song that I’m sure that I’ve heard before. I don’t have a clue as to where I’ve heard it though. Perhaps I caught a glimpse of it at Mnet M!Countdown or Inkigayo when they won over SNSD’s Gee.
It’s their first #1 single.
Just a random thought: who came up with the set design in the video? “We need something to smack up behind the girls in the Honey video”, “How about some hearts and stuff?”, “No no! It has to be original!”, “Um, honey…comb?”, “Brilliant! That’s just the kind of radical thinking we need. You’re promoted!”
I just placed a mega order (well, several medium size orders actually) at YesAsia. It’s been a good while since I ordered any J-Pop and K-Pop CDs and DVDs, so the must-haves have piled up.

This is what I got: […] there’s more! »
Mister was the song that was picked for KARA’s first Japanese single. It doesn’t sound as weird in Japanese as I would have thought. The Korean version is better though.

I don’t know if it was the initial impact of the dancing in the live performance I posted, but somehow this video feels tamer.
Now you’re in for some serious butt-wagging!
If I recall correctly this song was written by the same people that wrote Lupin.
You might remember that I generally don’t like the use of the word “Mr.” in song titles, but here it is the title, so it’s OK.
The DVD didn’t say when this was recorded and I couldn’t find the performance on YouTube, but then I came across another performance from the same show (same stage). It turns out that it’s the same show where Yu-ri from SNSD performed Get Right.
I finally watched Dear Friends (starring Keiko Kitagawa) the other night. I’ve been meaning to watch it for years (still not out on DVD with English subs). I liked it for the most part, although it was a bit awkward at times. Very emotional.

After watching it I browsed around YesAsia a bit and saw an in-store banner about some pre-order discount and thought “Hey, isn’t that Keiko?”. Turns out that she’s starring in a new movie called Hana no Ato, where she plays the daughter of a clan official who develops a relationship with a low-ranking samurai […] there’s more! »
This is the music video of Lupin, which I posted a live performance of before.

All the members look mighty hot here.
I was singing along to this song while driving the other day (no neighbours to worry about bothering on the road
) and I noticed that I was able to imitate the “aow!” shout perhaps a little too well.
