In a way the stage performance is so much better than the music video. It’s a bit (OK, understatement) more positive.
I just loove Minzy’s hair like this. So cool. Dara looks nice too.

The girls in 4Minute are featured in the October issue of Ceci magazine. I haven’t posted any 4Minute pictures before, so I thought I’d put these up.

“I ♥ ×××” is Ai Otsuka’s latest single. The title is not what some might think. It’s more like Ayumi hamasaki’s “A song for ××”. Like “[insert name or whatever here]”.
It’s a very nice, feel good song and the music video is pretty nice. There’s no footage of Ai, though. You’ll have to settle for two penguins

I was going to post a live as well, but those videos are giving me some trouble at the moment, so I’ll put that off until later.
Truly awesome comeback performance by 2NE1 at M!Countdown. I like the fire part, and that Dara smiles (she has such a nice smile)
. Minzy also looks great. They all do.

It’s cool how they could get pretty much all of the music video into one stage performance using only a bench.
I’m going to post the other songs 2NE1 performed on this show too, but I’ll probably sneak some other clips in between.
Copy & Paste is one of two new songs included on the repackaged version of Hurricane Venus, which is coming out next week.

It’s nice that she’s releasing more songs, but I’m not too fond of the whole repackaged album concept, since it means that fans who pre-order the album get less than people who wait for the second version. It’s still better than the “let’s release a gazillion versions of the same album” strategy though.
The file is a bit big, so if you have a slow connection you might want to use a download manager. Check the FAQ for details.
Ayu recently did a shoot for the November issue ViVi magazine as a part of the promotion for her 50th single, where she shows off her tattoos (among other things).
I can’t say I fully understand magazine numbering. By the time I post this, the November issue photo shoot is already old news, and it’s still September.

The third video in 2NE1’s tri-vid promotion, is Can’t Nobody. The video is so-so in the beginning, but it gets better as the song progresses.

I haven’t driven in a while, but I have the feeling that a few of 2NE1 songs, inlcluding this one, are very likely to make it to my “driving” play list (I just hope I don’t get ticketed). Hmmm… on second thought, I’d better not put Go Away on there
Minzy’s outfit with spiky hood and skull bandana is pretty bad-ass. I also had one of those stiletto combs that CL is wielding when I was a kid
The lesson to be learned in this video is that if you hurt CL, you’re dead meat
Perhaps I should warn you that the video contains physical abuse followed by a pretty extreme ending.

Go Away is my other favourite among the new tracks on 2NE1’s album.
2NE1 are promoting three tracks from the album at the same time, so they have three new videos out. Some say it’s risky, but I think it’s pretty awesome. Though there are more than one risk involved: I read on allkpop that Park Bom collapsed and had to be taken to the hospital after one of their performanes.
As an experiment I’ve started tweeting. I’m still trying to get a hang of it, but if you want you can follow me on Twitter. It’s open for everyone.
I’ve also decided to open up my Facebook account from being close friends only to allow online friends (J-Pop/K-Pop fans) too. I’m tweeting in English and my tweets gets posted on Facebook too, so it’s basically the same updates in both places. I still need to approve the friend request on Facebook, so it’d be nice if you wrote that you came via this blog and your alias, if you’ve posted comments.
Baksu chyeo! 2NE1’s first full-length album To Anyone was released a few days ago. It’s über-hyped, but it lives up to the expectations I had at least. I’ve been listening to it over and over. Sounds really good in my headphones. Needless to say, this week will be 2NE1 week on the blog.

Clap Your Hands (박수 쳐) is one of my favourites out of the new tracks.
I don’t know if I made it clear earlier, but it took a while for me to warm up to 2NE1. It wasn’t until I heard You & I that I really gave their other stuff a chance. You & I is included on the album too. I bought the Thai version of their mini-album to get that song, but I see now that it was completely unnecessary. Kind of like when I hunted down an SNSD album to get a bonus DVD without knowing that the DVD had huge Chinese hardsubs.
