Let me just start off by saying that I love this song! 
Jumping (ジャンピン) is the title of KARA’s first new song since they debuted in Japan. From the first time I heard a preview of the song I haven’t been able to get it out of my head (you have now been warned 
). It’s a pretty simple song, but oh so catchy 
.

All the members look great here. The ones who I think have changed their style the most are Gyu-ri with her blonde hair and Nicole with her hair up, showing more of her face. I wasn’t sure Gyu-ri would be able to pull it off but she looks really pretty with blonde hair.
I’m usually sceptical when Korean artists debut in Japan, but it seems to go be going very well for KARA. Even the Japanese version of Mister sounded pretty good.
They chose a simpler dance routine for Jumping since the hip dance they did for Mister was too difficult for the fans to imitate .
The single is coming out in November and is available for pre-order.
(The video quality isn’t the best so I’ll probably repost this video when I get a hold of a better source video.)

I used the best quality video I could find. Unfortunately there’s a huge clock in the corner all the time, but at least to me that was less annoying than the glitches in the other videos

Girls’ Generation are releasing a new Korean mini-album on October 27th (in one week!). The album is called 훗(hut/hoot), which is a laughing sound.
SNSD’s official site (flash) has been updated with the new concept and is being continuously updated with pictures of each member. There’s also a sound bite there (you click different parts of the spinning wheel).
The album doesn’t seem to be available for pre-order just yet, but it ought to be very soon.

Daum recently released a screensaver which consists of clips of all members of Girls’ Generation acting cute and looking out at you through the screen.
You can check out a preview on YouTube here (note that the actual screensaver has no sound):
I like Yu-ri and Seo-hyun the most in this screensaver because they’re interacting most naturally with the screen. Yu-ri cleans your screen for you 
.
When the screensaver starts it plays the clips in random order.
You can download them directly from Daum or use one of the mirrors I’ve put up in case the download is slow.

Let me start by saying that I love Girls’ Generation (uh-oh…) and wish them all the luck in Japan.
Gee is one of my favourite K-Pop songs. The Japanese version of the video is pretty similar to the Korean original and the girls look really cute as always.

However…
It seems like someone went a little auto-tune crazy with the Japanese version, because sometimes the girls almost sound like smurfs. They completely destroyed Seo-hyun’s voice. I’m really disappointed.
Did the studio guy accidentally mash all effect buttons with his palm? Or spill his drink over the controls and then wiped them off with his sleeve while recording? It couldn’t have been on purpose, could it?
