Today is Kim Tae-yeon’s 23rd birthday. I thought I’d celebrate by wearing my “309″ Tae-yeon beanie today, but I wear that every day so I’m making a Tae-yeon related post too
.
Let’s start with her awesome Devil’s Cry (intro to Run Devil Run) performance from SNSD’s Japan tour DVD (long overdue):
Tae-yeon is my favourite K-Pop artist. On so many levels — she has it all. I’ve seen her (and the rest of SNSD
) three times so far. The first time (SMTown Paris) I wanted to cheer for her, but when I first saw her I couldn’t utter a sound. The second time (Music Core) I couldn’t take my eyes off her. I was completely mesmerized. The third time was just last month at Music Bank in Paris. That time I cheered as hard as I could and waved the first fan sign I’ve ever made: “태연 사랑해 ♥”.
The second thing I want to share is an MP3 of the song I Love You, which Tae-yeon sang for the Athena: Goddess of War soundtrack. I’ve been listening to it a lot after seeing a clip of Tae-yeon performing the song in Osaka.
- Tae-yeon - I Love You 8MB MP3
It’s not a true 320kbps MP3 (it’s most likely been transcoded), but it’s the only one I have.
I’ll end this post with some links to some other Tae-yeon solo performances that I’ve posted before:
