Although I haven’t written much about figures, it doesn’t mean I’ve stopped blowing mone… collecting them.

Yet another figure based on a Shunya Yamashita design is coming out in January. This time it’s a pretty far out version of Ryomou Shimei of Ikki Tousen. It looks almost nothing like the original character - it looks much better!
The 1/6 PVC figure is manufactured by Daiki Kougyo and it’s very very expensive. It costs more than the Kiriko figure I mentioned before. […] there’s more! »
I’ve once again gotten back into figures. I’m still waiting for my Good Smile Saber Lily Avalon, which will finally be released at the end of this month. I’ve also bought another display case and some LED lights to light up each shelf. I was planning on displaying only a few figures and rotating them, but now I’ll try to display most of them at once if I can arrange them in a tasteful manner.
I’m a fan of Shunya Yamashita’s designs, but I’ve opted out on some of the latest figures, since they haven’t seemed as nice as I would’ve liked. But now they’ve started taking pre-orders for the mother of all Shunya Yamashita figures: Hattori Kiriko Ninja version.

The design is great. I really like the face, and […] there’s more! »
Today I got my Zero no Louise figure that I pre-ordered ages ago. It’s Alter’s Louise Gothic and Punk Ver. figure. I’m not very into the gothic lolita style, but I really like this figure. The boots and ribbons and everything.
I’ve watched two seasons of Zero no Tsukaima. I started watching the anime after seeing figures of Louise. I liked the concept that she was called Zero no Louise becuase she had a zero success rate with her spells.
A couple of days ago I received my biggest order of figures to date. Now I’ve taken a few photos of them after I’ve unpacked them. I took some quick shots in daylight on top of one of my cupboards.
Let’s start with the Eye Up 1/8 Yoko figure. I’m very happy with this figure. Yoko and Mao were impulse buys that I added to the order right before it was shipped. I really like the pose, her expression and how dynamic it feels. It has a couple of small flaws. […] there’s more! »
I had a pretty crappy day today. My head feels like it’s about to split open. But I suddenly felt a little better when I collected this from the post office after work:

Sweet!
It’s Mao and Blanc Neige from Shining Wind, the MC Axis Nose Art Girl designed by Shunya Yamashita and Yoko from Gurren Lagann.
Guess what? I’ve finally taken some photos of my Another Blood figure. This figure is sculpted by Wu Boo Hong for Max Factory. This was the first figure I ever pre-ordered (or, when I think about it, it’s the second - I pre-ordered the Revoltech Pocco figure before this one). I just had to have it.
The photos perhaps look a little dull with the black background. I wanted to try black, but I’m not too sure about the results. I also couldn’t choose which photos to post, so I ended up posting all of them. You can pick which ones you want to look at ![]()

When I got back from a trip yesterday, I found that I’d received my Max Factory Another Blood figure. It will go great with my Al Azif figure. More about this later.
I took some new photos of my Feena Fam Earthlight figure tonight. I was trying out some new reflectors that I just made and a grey card that I got this morning. I forgot the ISO at auto though
Well, well. They’re better than the last ones at least. […] there’s more! »
Now it’s time for some photos of my brand new Kanu Uncho figure. It’s a 1/8 figure by Alter sculpted by Mirano. This is one of those figures that I just had to have. I love how her hair flows around her body and the weapon looks mean! The figure is really nice! It has some partially visible seams, but overall it looks great! I’m very happy with it. The only problem is that I have to rearrange my display case to put Kanu in a good spot. Check out the rest of the pictures. […] there’s more! »
