After all the teasers, SNSD’s new album The Boys was finally released today. Along with it, two versions of the music video for the title track were unveiled. One Korean version and one English. As much as I like (and prefer) the Korean one, the English version is much better than I had expected. I thought it’d sound, I don’t know.. cornier?

With all the build up with all the teasers, there was a huge risk of disappointment, but The Boys isn’t even close to disappointing. I love the music video! After the short teasers, a 5 minutes and 20 seconds long music video almost results in pleasure overload though .

In just a few weeks (November 2nd) YUI will be releasing her new album called HOW CRAZY YOUR LOVE. One of the new songs on the album is Lock On, which will also be the theme song for the upcoming drama Kaito Royale. The casino theme in the music video comes form the drama.

Lock On has a bit of a new sound compared to YUI’s previous stuff. Or rather, a combination of the various styles she has used in the past. It’s good, but my first impression is that it’s perhaps a little “all over the place”. It’s getting better with each listen though. I really like the “oo-oo-ooh” at the end of the chorus .

I recently posted a picture of IU with short hair, that she posted on her fan cafe with the comment that it was her new hair style. Then the teaser for SNSD’s new album were released and Sunny shocked everyone with her short blonde hair.

I like both styles, but then I saw this fantaken photo of IU from yesterday, where she still has long hair. Did IU just troll everyone? It seems like it.

The teaser that was showing Sunny with short hair was recorded some time before September 27th (when the teaser photo was published). However, SNSD performed at Hallyu Dream Concert on October 3rd and there Sunny had her usual long hair. So it seems like my twitter friends were right, that she’s wearing a wig in the teaser T_T. I thought it looked pretty awesome, so I’m a little disappointed actually .

T-ara’s So-yeon posted another cute picture on Twitter today. Kyaaa~♥! So friggin adorable! Also check out the picture of KARA’s Ji-young and her nice figure. She has really shone during the Step promotions, getting more and more spotlight. Perhaps because of how popular she is in Japan. KARA is concluding their Korean promotions this week and will return to Japan for a new release there. T-ara are releasing a new Korean album soon (in about a month, I think).

The teasers for SNSD’s upcoming album The Boys are being released bit by bit. So far it’s only pictures. I’ve already posted a few of them, but I thought I’d collect all of them here.

The concept seems to revolve around fairy tales. Doesn’t really give you much to go on as far as what the comeback performance will be like. I’m looking forward to the video teaser.

I’ll update this post when the rest of the pictures come out.

I watched SNSD’s Into the New World First Asia Tour DVDs a couple of weeks ago. After performing a few songs, the girls lined up and introduced themselves one by one. Last one out was Tae-yeon:

Speaking of Tae-yeon and Girls’ Generation, the release date for their new album “The Boys” has been set. It will be released on iTunes worldwide on October 4th. Until then we’ll get teaser pictures and videos. The first teaser picture is of Tae-yeon. I don’t know what the concept will be exactly, but I guess we’ll know as the teasers keep coming.

With her new album coming up soon, IU has cut her hair short. She posted this picture on her fan café. I like her pretty long hair, but she’s so cute with her hair short. I wonder what her new album will be like. Superb, no doubt .

I must make an IU post today! I was listening to her songs today and I felt the need to upgrade the ratings on some of them. Some that I felt were average have really grown on me. I listen to IU all the time, but this particular listening session was prompted by the selca that IU posted on her Me2day earlier today (click the picture on the right). It’s the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long while! *melts*

Speaking of IU, I’ve been meaning to post a video of Raindrop and now seems like as good a time as any . It’s a nice song. This performance is perhaps not the most emotion packed that IU has done, but it’s the only one I have.
