Surely you’ve heard about SNSD’s American network TV debut. Yesterday they made an appearance on Live With Kelly and the night before they were on Letterman to promote the release of the US version of The Boys.

On Letterman they performed a remixed version of The Boys. By the way, I can’t look at Bill Murray any more without thinking of Zombieland .

On Live With Kelly they performed a shortened version of the original mix, followed by an short interview.

I prefer the morning show appearance, since they performed the original version (although, in English, of course) and that there was an interview, which I felt gave off a positive image of the girls.

I really like this song. Here it’s arranged differently. It’s a bit more elaborate than the studio version. Bordering too elaborate, since I like the simplicity of the song. But still very good.

T-ara is currently topping the Korean charts with Lovey-Dovey (Go T-ara!). Another track from their latest album is We were in love (우리 사랑했잖아), which is a collaboration between some members (So-yeon, Ji-yeon, Hwa-young & Hyo-min) from T-ara and Davichi.

I really like this video (and the song too). It’s very simple and pretty much only consists of close-up shots, but it’s mostly of So-yeon, so I like it . Hwa-young doesn’t rap until the end of the song, but she does it like a boss . I really like her new look.

Eun-jung isn’t in this song though. Otherwise all my favs would’ve been in it. Speaking of Eun-jung, she recently fell and injured her knee pretty badly . So, she most likely won’t be coming to Paris with the others. It’s a shame, because I was looking forward to seeing her, but I hope her knee heals up well.

Tae-yeon uploaded a new selca to her UFO Star Call account the other day. It’s a new picture of her with her peas in a pod plushie. So cute!

She has uploaded a picture with the plushie before too and many airport photos show her carrying it with her. She actually has a whole bunch of them because when fans saw that she liked them, they bought more of them (mostly smaller ones) and threw them up onto the stage, like at SMTown New York:

Time to fill a request by Chewi, which is also a request by myself :3. It’s T-ara’s Lovey-Dovey. I like the song, although not as much as I had expected to. I’m liking it more and more as I watch the lives.

This song is included (duh) on their latest mini-album Funky Town. At first I got the impression that they were going to release a part 1 and part 2 of the album, but it turns out that it was just the music videos (the long ones for Cry Cry and Lovey-Dovey). Funky Town is a repackaged version of Black Eyes, so it has all the songs. I didn’t pull the trigger on Black Eyes, so I’ll just go ahead and get Funky Town instead.

As I was watching the video I was thinking that they couldn’t have been allowed to use that choreography on the music shows, considering that 4Minute had to alter their Mirror Mirror dance, which had the same “spread legs” move. Turns out they weren’t . I had to look it up, and Rania debuted with this song a little over a week after 4Minute came back with Mirror Mirror. Good thing they had 4Minute “test drive” the move, so they could tone it down a little. They were still criticised for being too provocative, though.
