Another Big Bang request 
. I’ve only listened a little to their latest mini-album, but I’ve found myself going “wow, fantastic baby”, “I’m still alive” or starting to hum Blue when I’m walking home from work recently. The following song hasn’t hit home with me, though.

This video was requested by joonxfan and barguzzz. It’s from Big Bang’s latest mini-album Alive.
The beginning of the video made me think of Brown Eyed Girls’ Sixth Sense, but then it goes off in a completely different direction. I can just imagine the director describing the concept to the band: “OK, this might seem a bit weird, but I think you’ll like it” and G-Dragon going: “Weirder!” 
I’m referring mostly to the traditional Korean lion dance thrown in there.
I think that this song was requested by ragnafine a while back. The Korean version is called 마지막 인사 (Last Farewell) and was included on Big Bang’s second mini-album. This is the English version (called Baby Baby according to the caption).
This clip is from YHY’s Sketchbook in 2009 where IU performed short acoustic covers of SNSD’s Gee, Big Bang’s Lies and Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry. Really nice versions.

It’s funny how smitten the host is by IU . You can tell earlier in the show, but when she sings the covers he’s completely mesmerized by her. You can tell that he tried to force himself to look in another direction during Sorry Sorry after the audience laughed, but he soon has to look at her again.
The first time I watched this show (yes, I’ve watched it several times ), I thought “oh no!” when the audience started clapping along to Gee because I came to think of one of YUI’s street lives where the audience started clapping faster and faster.
Lies (거짓말) was Big Bang’s break-out hit back in 2007.

The music video for Lies has a kind of intense story line (kind of like Haru haru, which came out later). You should watch it to the end.
BTW, Big Bang is releasing a new album in February.
Back in 2009 2NE1 made their unofficial debut with this collaboration with Big Bang, which was created for LG Cyon promotion.

Now it’s time for Haru Haru by Big Bang, which was requested by kagzi.
I actually kind of like this song. I’ve only heard My Girl by Big Bang before and I didn’t particularly like that song, but this one is OK. The PV is pretty good too, but the guy to the left in the thumbnail could definitely enter an “evil eyebrows” contest
As usual I recognize the girl from somewhere. I can’t remember who she is (or looks like) though. Anyone know who she is?
