Black Rock Shooter

I’ve just recently started listening to ONE OK ROCK. What I’m looking for is a High and Mighty Color replacement and those are some big shoes to fill. I’ve only randomly listened through some songs while riding to work, so I haven’t really formed my final opinion on this band yet. Some songs are good, others not so much.

One song I do like is NO SCARED. It was used as the intro song for the Black Rock Shooter PSP game (which I haven’t played), but could easily have been used for an anime opening as well.

The video is funny with the contagious headbanging  . At first I thought it was just going to be a boring studio video.

One thing I’ve noticed about this band is that there’s a lot of English in the lyrics. The songs still have that Japanese sound though (which is good).

Feel free to post the titles of your favourite ONE OK ROCK songs in the comment section. It’d be helpful since I’ve just started listening to them.

Black Rock Shooter figma with DVD

I received my Black Rock Shooter figma figure today. To my surprise the box said that a 50 minute DVD was included. I wasn’t expecting that at all. I was actually thinking about checking out the Black Rock Shooter anime, so a free DVD is great even if it doesn’t have any subtitles.

So I sit down to check out the DVD. The anime starts playing right away. It looks pretty cool. I press the menu button just in case… and it does have subtitles! In multiple languages! It has English, Japanese, Chinese, German, Spanish, French and Italian subtitles! :D

I haven’t written about my figure collection in a while. Since last time I’ve received the Rider figma figure, which is everything I expected, as well as my Hatsune Miku VN02 mix. The “downside” with the Miku figure is that it pretty much needs a shelf of its own, since it’s so eye-catching that it steals the thunder from other figures on the same shelf.
