Max Factory

Another Blood 1/8 Max Factory

Guess what? I’ve finally taken some photos of my Another Blood figure. This figure is sculpted by Wu Boo Hong for Max Factory. This was the first figure I ever pre-ordered (or, when I think about it, it’s the second - I pre-ordered the Revoltech Pocco figure before this one). I just had to have it.

The photos perhaps look a little dull with the black background. I wanted to try black, but I’m not too sure about the results. I also couldn’t choose which photos to post, so I ended up posting all of them. You can pick which ones you want to look at ;)

When I got back from a trip yesterday, I found that I’d received my Max Factory Another Blood figure. It will go great with my Al Azif figure. More about this later.

Feena Fam Earthlight

I took some new photos of my Feena Fam Earthlight figure tonight. I was trying out some new reflectors that I just made and a grey card that I got this morning. I forgot the ISO at auto though :(

Feena Fam Earthlight

Yesterday I picked up my Feena Fam Earthlight figure from the post office. I try to stay away from bikini figures, but this one was so nice, so I had to order it. The figure is sculpted by Tetsuya Yamada at Max Factory. Al Azif 1/8 Max Factory without wall

Today I got the Max Factory Al Azif figure that I’ve been waiting for. I really like it because of how the hair and all the ribbons flow. It has some minor imperfections on the ribbons and some very small stains (as you can see in the pictures), but the overall quality is great in my opinion.

Ignis

I read super rats’ tutorial for taking indoor photos of figures today. On my way home I went shopping and bought some tracing paper etc. to build a light diffuser for the mini photo studio I was about to build. I didn’t follow the tutorial fully because I don’t have many lamps and they are all pretty weak. I thought I’d give it a go with what I already had (so that the most expensive material I had to buy was a roll of tape).

Non-non and Ignis

Today I received a big package from Japan. It contained the two most expensive anime figures I’ve bought: Creators’ Labo #012 Shunya Yamashita’s Non-non and Max Factory’s Ignis. I absolutely love them! It was sooo worth it. The photo doesn’t do them justice (I’ll take some better ones later).
