The PV for Ai Otsuka’s song “360°” is so weird and yet so visually appealing
Happy Fr-Ai-day!
I’ve been bugging my neighbours this weekend by playing 소원을 말해봐/Tell Me Your Wish (Genie) by Girls’ Generation over and over. It’s the title track of their latest mini-album Genie, in case you’ve missed that.

Yoon-a looks great in this PV. I didn’t think I’d like her shorter hair, but it looks good. Jessica should let her hair grow long again. Perhaps some day the stylists will find a good hair style for Hyo-yeon
As an experiment, I’m including BitTorrent as an alternative download method.
I’m back! And my first order of business is to reinstate Fr-Ai-days. I probably won’t post a new Ai video every Friday, but at least every second Friday.
It’s summer, and is there a summerier song than Smily?
This is the live recording version of YUI’s again music video. It’s the live footage that was partially used in the PV, with the original live audio.

This will be the last post I’m making for a while. I’m taking an indefinite break from this blog while I go back to passively consuming again.
The easiest way to get notified of if and when I’ll be back is to subscribe to the feed. I’ll still be reading all comments, but I won’t reply.
Momo no hanabira was the first Ai Otsuka song I ever heard. An online friend sent it to me shortly after it was released. I remember listening to it on my 128 MB MP3 player
At first, I wasn’t planning on posting this song, but it’s been playing over and over in my head the past weeks.
It could also be fun for fans of Seo-hyun (from Girls’ Generation) to hear her in more of a solo (well, duo) context.

Happy Days was one of the first of Ai Otsuka’s PVs that I watched. I like it a lot. I love the beginning when she rolls out of the car
I wonder how they figured when they decided they would keep the steering wheel in the car fixed. Did it cost very much extra to have a moving steering wheel included in the animation? “You want a moving steering wheel in the car? That’ll cost you…”
It’s Fr-Ai-day again!
This week I’ve selected a nice live performance of Kurage, Nagareboshi (クラゲ、流れ星). Ai looks very nice here. I’m not a big fan of the highlights in her hair, but they aren’t as visible here as in other performances. I kept the talk intro because I thought it was kind of cute.

For next week, I’ll see if I can find something a bit more upbeat. Have a nice weekend
My favourite Girls’ Generation girl at the moment is Tae-yeon. Here she’s performing the song Can You Hear Me (들리나요) from the soundtrack of the Korean drama series Beethoven Virus.
Seo-hyun is playing the piano.
Let’s kick off Fr-Ai-day celebration with the acoustic version of the song Ai.
I love this song. It’s one of my favourites off her new album, along with Kurage, Nagareboshi. I think Ai looks cute with her hair short like this.
