While I still like (love) the original more, the Japanese version is really good too.

I like how they’ve changed up the video a little. Not keeping the choreography would have been just wrong, so I’m glad they kept it. I liked the outfits in the original more too, but it would have been extremely boring if everything had looked the same as if they had just made a Japanese voice over of the original video.

I’m not sure about Tae-yeon’s hair style where they’re wearing the green outfits though.

Skyline is the big finale of the musical Midnight Sun.

This torrent has the entire musical in PSP-friendly video. I think it’s the biggest file I’ve posted to date. The video is in Korean and does not have subtitles.

For those who don’t know, Midnight Sun (태양의 노래) is a Korean musical version of the Japanese movie (which is based on a book as I understand it) with the same name (Midnight Sun/太陽の歌).

Cabi Song is a part of a commercial for a Korean water park called Carribean Bay and is a collaboration between SNSD and 2PM.

Most prominent in the video is Yoon-a, Yu-ri (featured in the thumbnail image) and then Seo-hyun, but some of the other girls can be seen in the party scene too. And there are some guys from 2PM for those who’re more interested in that .

I wrote earlier about how Girls’ Generation have released their very first official photobook. Needless to say, I ordered it and today I could pick it up at the post office. Yay!

Another order from Gmarket, another ridiculously oversized package. My jaw almost dropped when the guy at the post office came back with the package . As you can see, it’s mostly air, but the entire bottom is filled with the box for the book.

When the store said the package weighed 3 kg I thought they were trying to scam me, but this thing is huuuuge. I put it beside a CD for size comparison.

At the turn of the month Girls’ Generation’s first official photobook will be released. Titled “少女 (in Tokyo)”, it’s a 354 page photobook that was shot in Tokyo (duh ). Included is also a 69 minute (region free) DVD that has, wait for it… English subtitles!

I’m so going to buy this. It’s available for pre-order at YesAsia right now.

At first I thought the price they were charging was ridiculous ($65 with standard shipping) since the list price is supposed to be ￦44000 ($39), but that was before I saw what people were charging (with shipping) on eBay. I’m going to try ordering it from Korea instead. I found a deal where it’s $48 with EMS shipping (hopefully I won’t get ripped off ).

Back in 2007 Girls’ Generation did a cover of BoA’s My Name at the 100th episode of M! Countdown.
