Time to fill a request by Chewi, which is also a request by myself :3. It’s T-ara’s Lovey-Dovey. I like the song, although not as much as I had expected to. I’m liking it more and more as I watch the lives.

This song is included (duh) on their latest mini-album Funky Town. At first I got the impression that they were going to release a part 1 and part 2 of the album, but it turns out that it was just the music videos (the long ones for Cry Cry and Lovey-Dovey). Funky Town is a repackaged version of Black Eyes, so it has all the songs. I didn’t pull the trigger on Black Eyes, so I’ll just go ahead and get Funky Town instead.

Last night I watched another movie that I bought in Korea. This time I picked White - The Melody of the Curse (화이트 - 저주의 멜로디), starring Ham Eun-jung from T-ara. It’s a horror movie. Not what I usually go for, but I got it because of Eun-jung.

Eun-jung plays the role of Eun-ju. She used to be a backup dancer, but is now the leader of a rookie K-Pop girl group that’s not doing very well. One day their management company relocate them to a new studio building (where a lot of people had died in a fire some years ago). While cleaning the dance studio, Eun-ju finds an old VHS tape titled “White”. The tape contains a blurry music video recording of a pop song. The song sounds like it would be a hit, but no one has heard it before, so they decide to use it as their own. Horror ensues.

The movie wasn’t overly scary. However, I did employ some “selective viewing” at the end .

I did find the story a bit unrealistic, though. In real life, I think this is how it would’ve happened: “I found an old VHS tape. Does anyone have a VCR?” “No.” The end. Also, haven’t these girls watched The Ring? When has playing an old video tape ever led to anything good?

Cry Cry is the main track of T-ara’s latest album Black Eyes, which is part one of two (I’m not sure exactly how it works). At first the song didn’t have that big of an impact on me, but it’s grown on me considerably the last couple of days. I was finishing up at work today and found myself humming the song. I’m not a fan of the Spanish guitar and accordion though.

So-yeon looks so cute! And check out Hwa-young’s short hair. Eun-jung and Ji-yeon look pretty hot too. This live wasn’t the one that was requested, but I like this one . It’s from the same Music Bank where SNSD got their 5th win. T-ara placed 4th then. I wonder how they’ll do this week. We’ll know in a few hours.

T-ara recently released the Japanese version of Yayaya (youtube). Like Bo Peep Bo Peep, it’s very similar to the Korean original, but without the story element. The concept is the same. I was hoping they’d do their Korean comeback next week, but I guess they’ll be busy in Japan.

T-ara’s Japanese debut single is a Japanese version of their Korean song Bo peep bo peep. I wasn’t going to post this auto-tune fest at first, but So-yeon is just so cute that I can’t resist .

I was a bit worried when T-ara presented the concept photos for their Japanese debut, where they had full cat make-up on. Thankfully they didn’t use it in their performances. T-ara’s next Japanese single is going to be Yayaya. They’re going to have a very hectic schedule now, with both Japanese promotions and their impending Korean album release.

The source video that I used is the story version from the DVD that comes with the single, but I cut it down to what’s shown in the “Japan original version” that was shown on TV. It was just too long (and the parts I cut out didn’t feature any members of T-ara anyway).

T-ara’s So-yeon posted another cute picture on Twitter today. Kyaaa~♥! So friggin adorable! Also check out the picture of KARA’s Ji-young and her nice figure. She has really shone during the Step promotions, getting more and more spotlight. Perhaps because of how popular she is in Japan. KARA is concluding their Korean promotions this week and will return to Japan for a new release there. T-ara are releasing a new Korean album soon (in about a month, I think).

I’ve been using Roly-Poly as my ringtone for a couple of weeks now. I normally don’t get many calls at work, but last week I spoke a lot on the phone and all day my phone went ♪Lolli-polli~lollilollipolli~♪, but none of my co-workers complained.

It was so hard to choose which performance to post. Some have nicer outfits, some better expressions. So I gave up and just picked this one .
