This torrent has the entire musical in PSP-friendly video. I think it’s the biggest file I’ve posted to date. The video is in Korean and does not have subtitles.

For those who don’t know, Midnight Sun (태양의 노래) is a Korean musical version of the Japanese movie (which is based on a book as I understand it) with the same name (Midnight Sun/太陽の歌).

When I made the PSP version of the PV for YUI’s Sea, the first one came out bad with the sound disappearing at the end of the video. I fixed it before uploading it, but it seems like I must have uploaded the bad version and thrown away the good one. I only noticed this a few days ago (I haven’t used my PSP for a while) and I’m a bit surprised that no one said anything.

I’ve fixed and re-uploaded the video now. I’ve also replaced the torrents containing the bad video. Since this meant that I had to replace the YUI collection torrent, I also added It’s all too much and Never say die to the torrent. I will be seeding the old torrent for a while, but it’s recommended that you use the updated torrent.

This is High and Mighty Color’s first PV with new vocalist HALCA. The song is from their upcoming album Swamp Man. The wait has been long and that usually means that expectations have had time to build up.

I must say that I’m a bit disappointed with the PV, the song and HALCA’s performance. So, if you have high expectations, you might want to lower them a notch before watching the video.

The video is basically just a shaky camera and I feel that it doesn’t “show off” HALCA like I would have expected for her PV debut. Maki was always the center of attention in the previous videos. Maki also looked “fresher”.

The song is “fine”, but not quite what I was hoping for.

I was hoping that I could just accept HALCA and think of it as a new band, but it’s hard not to compare her with Maki. I still have hopes for the band. They could do with a new hit though.
